Hi gang,
With Outlook v. 2003, how do you get outlook to tell you how many emails are in a folder. It seems as if I must click on the folder before it tells me how many items are in it. If I don’t, every folder is said to have zero items, even when I know that is not the case.
My second question is also about folders. When I have a folder with no items in it, if I click on that folder, I am taken to a page which does nothing. JFW reports that it is some sort of PDF document? Has anyone run across this?
Finally, my last question is in regards to grouping messages as conversations. JFW does not say collapsed or expanded in this view. Can this be fixed? I am running JFW v. 10.0.1154
Regards,
Nem
Hello Nem. You ask much and it would require several posting to cover all you want to know. All your issue are fixable. Here is something to put you on the track to doing this without me having to write a small novel, and we'd have to go back and forth for a long time. First use controls alt T for tools. In the tools section arrow up to options, and hit inter. Use tab, shift tab, and control tab and your arrow keys to navigate through. You'll find much in the way of settings for everything. Next Outlook has a wonderful help section. You can get there and read about anything you want by using the alt H controls. Third sense you are using Jaws 10, you could use the tandem, if you have this, so that freedom scientific can connect to your computer and make changes for you regarding things that have to do with Jaws. I have not used this service, so can not say how much other help they'll provide as far as things related to Outlook.
Good luck my friend.
Smile.
